Work with designers and engineers to turn ideas into manufacturable prototypes. Learn modern CAD, DFM, and rapid prototyping on real product concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create CAD models and drawings for components and assemblies.
- Build and test prototypes using 3D printing and shop tools.
- Conduct user research sessions and summarize findings.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine designs for manufacturability.
- Present project updates to mentors and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD).
- Strong problem-solving and hands-on prototyping skills.
- Excellent communication and a growth mindset.
