This privacy policy applies to you if you are a visitor to the Pioneer job board (a "Job Seeker") at https://pioneer.jobs (the "Site") and sets out how data that identifies or is associated with you ("Personal Data") is collected, stored, processed, transferred, shared, and used when you use the Site to access and interact with professionals within companies, funds, and partners in the BlockHunters Group LLC network (the "Network").

We, BlockHunters Group LLC (the owners of the Site) (hereinafter referred to as "We," "us," "our"), respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. BlockHunters Group LLC acts as the data controller for all personal information collected through this Site. Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the usage and processing of your data as set out.

2. Who is the Data Controller of your Personal Data?

BlockHunters Group LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, processes Personal Data as a Data Controller for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

3. What information do we collect?

3.1. Subscribing to Job Alerts

If you subscribe to "Job Alerts" (notifications for new jobs matching your preferences), we will ask you to provide certain Personal Data, including:

  • a valid email address;
  • your job preferences.

3.2. Applying to a job directly on the Site

If you apply to a job directly on this Site (and not through a third-party site linked from this Site), we will ask you to provide certain Personal Data, including:

  • a valid email address;
  • your first and last name;
  • the URL of your LinkedIn profile;
  • the URLs of any personal websites;
  • your resume/CV in PDF or other file formats;
  • a cover letter or any additional information you wish to include in your application.

Additionally, we will ask:

  • whether you are legally authorized to work in the relevant jurisdiction; and
  • whether you require any type of sponsorship or employment visa status.

3.3. Joining the Talent Network

If you register on this Site as a Job Seeker to join the "Pioneer Talent Network," we may request the following Personal Data:

  • a valid email address;
  • a password;
  • your name;
  • a location;
  • your professional background;
  • the URL of your LinkedIn profile;
  • your job preferences;
  • information provided by third parties such as LinkedIn, according to your privacy settings (e.g., profile picture, first name, last name, email address);
  • your resume in PDF or other file formats.

Sensitive Personal Information

To the extent we collect any data defined as "sensitive personal information" under the CPRA (such as government IDs, financial details, precise geolocation, or racial/ethnic data), we use or disclose this information only for limited operational purposes permitted by law. California residents have the right to limit our use and disclosure of such information.

3.4. Generally, we may collect your Personal Data as follows:

(a) Registration for the Talent Network, subscription to Job Alerts, or application to a job.

We will collect Personal Data that you voluntarily submit to us when you register with us as a Job Seeker, subscribe to Job Alerts, apply to a job directly on this Site, use any of our services, or otherwise interact with us. If you submit the URL or username of your LinkedIn profile or similar platforms, we may extract information automatically from that platform to populate your Talent Network profile and complete your application submission.

(b) Automated collection — cookies and similar technologies.

When you visit our Site, certain information (such as analytics, email, and cookies data) may be automatically collected by using cookies and other tracking technologies. We use this data to improve our services, manage our Site, and provide you with a better experience. Please refer to Pioneer’s Cookies Policy available at https://pioneer.jobs or see our Cookies Policy.

Do Not Track Signals

Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser settings or signals. However, you can control cookie and tracking preferences as described in our Cookies Policy.

4. For what purposes does BlockHunters Group LLC process Job Seekers' data?

4.1.

We process your Personal Data to help you find professional opportunities that match your preferences and to connect you with companies, funds, and partners within the Network for this purpose, using an automated job-board and matching system.

4.2.

If you choose to subscribe to Job Alerts, we will email you details of open roles that may be of interest to you within the Network. Your subscription data will only be shared with administrators of the Network.

4.3.

If you choose to apply to a job directly on this Site (NOT if you apply on a third-party site that this Site has linked out to), we shall share your application data with administrators of this Network and may also share it with the hiring partners identified in the job posting.

4.4.

We process your Personal Data for the following purposes: to operate and administer the Site and our business; to manage user relationships and respond to inquiries; to ensure compliance with legal obligations and internal policies; and to monitor and protect our Site, users, and data.

4.5. Business Administration and Legal Compliance.

We may use your data to comply with applicable laws, law enforcement, tax, or regulatory obligations.

4.6. Job Matching and Analytics.

We use automated processes to match candidates with opportunities based on the information they provide (preferences, experience, skills, location, etc.).

4.7. Fraud prevention, IT security, and compliance.

We monitor data and systems to prevent and detect criminal activity that could be damaging for and/or to us.

If you are based in the UK or the European Economic Area ("EEA"), please see Annex 1 for further information on how we use your Personal Data and the legal bases we rely on for such processing.

5. For how long will we keep your data?

We will continue to process your data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which we collected such Personal Data. This may be until:

  • this Site is no longer active; or
  • you unsubscribe from Job Alerts by following the Unsubscribe link in any email correspondence we send to you; or
  • you withdraw your application made to a job directly on this Site by contacting us at info@blockhuntersgroup.com; or
  • you deregister from the Talent Network by contacting us at info@blockhuntersgroup.com requesting deletion of your profile.

Submitted Personal Data may be removed if an administrator of the Network determines your profile is not a fit for the Network.

6. With whom will we share your data?

We will share your Personal Data with those organizations within the Network who may be able to offer professional opportunities that are of interest to you. Additionally, we may share your Personal Data with the following categories of recipients to fulfill the purposes for which we collected the Personal Data:

Service Providers

We provide Personal Data to our suppliers and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. For example, we use service providers to help store and manage your data and for maintenance of the job board, including Loxo (our ATS/CRM).

Professional advisors

We may share Personal Data with our lawyers, accountants, insurers, and other professional advisors as necessary in the ordinary course of business to obtain professional advice and to defend against legal claims.

Purchasers and third parties in connection with a business transaction

We may disclose Personal Data to third parties in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, sale of assets, reorganization, financing, change of control, or acquisition. In the event that BlockHunters Group LLC is acquired, the acquiring entity will have full rights and retention to Personal Data transferred as part of such transaction, subject to applicable law.

Law enforcement, regulators, and other parties for legal reasons

We may share your Personal Data with third parties if required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to: (i) comply with the law and reasonable requests of law enforcement; (ii) detect and investigate illegal activities and breaches of agreements; and/or (iii) exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of BlockHunters Group LLC, its users, or others.

7. Marketing from BlockHunters Group LLC

We may contact you with information about our services, marketing messages, and feedback requests. For users in the UK or EEA, we will send such marketing messages only with your consent, unless we are not required to obtain consent under applicable data protection law (for example, where you are a pre-existing customer who has not opted out of receiving such marketing communications). You may opt out of receiving marketing messages from us at any time by using the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting us at info@blockhuntersgroup.com.

8. Storing and transferring your Personal Data

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, change, or damage. All Personal Data collected will be stored on secure servers and/or with secure third-party providers (including Loxo).

We will never send you unsolicited emails or contact you by phone requesting passwords, bank details, or national identification numbers.

International transfers (UK/EEA)

If you are based in the UK or EEA, your Personal Data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside the UK and the EEA. Such transfers will be made pursuant to appropriate safeguards as provided in applicable data protection law (e.g., EU/UK Standard Contractual Clauses). Cross-Border Transfers

When we transfer Personal Data outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data-protection laws, we rely on "Standard Contractual Clauses" or equivalent lawful mechanisms approved by the European Commission or other applicable authority, as appropriate.

9. Quality of the data

If you are registered on the Talent Network, you must notify us of any changes or updates to your information to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate. You can contact us at info@blockhuntersgroup.com to update your information.

If you change the email address you used to subscribe to Job Alerts, you should unsubscribe and resubscribe with the new address. You can change your job preferences at any time via the links contained in our Job Alert emails.

If you apply directly on this Site (and not through a third-party host), you must notify us of any changes to your information to keep it accurate.

We may verify the authenticity of the Personal Data you provide. We reserve the right not to register you, subscribe you, or process your application if you provide false or incomplete information. This does not imply responsibility on our part for any loss or damage arising from misinterpretation or inaccuracy of the data you have provided to us. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide to us.

10. Children under 14 years old

We do not process Personal Data of children under 14 years of age nor do we direct content to them. If you are under 14 years of age, please do not provide Personal Data to us.

By providing Personal Data to us, you represent that you are over 14 years of age. You are responsible for this declaration, as well as for the access and correct use of the website subject to conditions of use, current legislation (national and international), principles of good faith, morals, public order, and commitment to observe additional instructions.

We may require you to provide evidence of your age (e.g., a photocopy of your identity document) at any time. If you do not supply this information, we may suspend or cancel your profile or any processing of your Personal Data. We consider that any abuse or violation of these conditions, especially those affecting minors, must be reported immediately to info@blockhuntersgroup.com.

11. What rights do you have?

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Know if we are processing your Personal Data and, where appropriate, access it;
  • Rectify your Personal Data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Require us to delete your Personal Data if it is not necessary for the indicated purposes;
  • Require us to limit the processing of your Personal Data;
  • Transfer your Personal Data to another provider of your choice (portability);
  • Object to the processing of your Personal Data or withdraw your consent at any time;
  • File a claim with the relevant Data Protection Authority (if you are based in the EEA), or with the Information Commissioner (https://ico.org.uk/) (if you are based in the UK), if you believe your rights have been infringed.

We may modify this Policy at any time by posting the updated Policy on our Site at Pioneer.Jobs. We will try to notify you of any material changes to this Policy by emailing you to the address associated with your account or by posting a notice on the Site.
