Install, test, and maintain structured cabling for Amazon’s training centers to ensure reliable, scalable connectivity for classroom, labs, and AV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fiber and copper (CAT6/CAT6A) per TIA/EIA standards.
- Terminate, label, certify, and document endpoints and patch panels.
- Collaborate with IT/Facilities to plan low-impact change windows.
- Maintain as-built diagrams and infrastructure inventory.
- Coach staff on cable safety and handling best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical certification or associate degree in networking/IT.
- 2+ years of structured cabling experience; fiber termination a plus.
- Familiarity with testers, OTDRs, and rack/patch management.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
