The Role
We’re hiring a Backend Engineer (Golang) to help build and scale the APIs and services that bring the Targon ecosystem to life. You’ll work on performance-critical systems, optimize infrastructure, and develop new features from scratch. You’ll be focused on:
- Developing and maintaining API layers for various services
- Benchmarking existing and new services to identify bottlenecks and optimizations
- Creating new services and applications to expand the Targon platform
Ideal Experiences
- Proficiency with Golang for backend development
- Experience working with Kubernetes in production
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and tooling
Bonus Skills
- Experience optimizing database performance and designing scalable architectures
- Experience with performance and load testing tools like K6
- Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Discord, Notion, and Linear for modern team collaboration
