Sponsorship Sales Representative
The Block is seeking a driven seller to join our revenue team and grow sponsorship, media, and advertising partnerships across crypto, Web3, fintech, and broader tech. You’ll own the full sales cycle, work closely with our Media, Research, and Events teams, and leverage one of the strongest brands in the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Own a pipeline of mid-market sponsorship and advertising opportunities.
- Prospect, pitch, and close deals across display media, podcasts, newsletters, events, and custom programs.
- Build relationships with marketing leaders, growth teams, and brand managers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to package solutions that deliver real value.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Stay ahead of crypto trends, key players, and shifting marketing budgets.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in media, advertising, or sponsorship sales.
- Strong understanding of crypto, Web3, and digital assets (crypto-curious at minimum; crypto-native ideal).
- Track record of building pipelines and closing mid-size sponsorship deals ($10K–$100K).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hunter mentality with strong client relationship instincts.
Bonus Points
- Experience selling across multiple media formats (display, audio, events, sponsored content).
- Existing network in crypto or fintech marketing.
